RMF Assessment and Authorization (A&A)

Home/Services/RMF Assessment and Authorization (A&A)

We understand your needs and we have you covered.

When it comes to Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assessment and Authorization (A&A), Cybernet Cybersecurity Division’s certified team delivers proven processes, and necessary tools to ensure your organization is ready for success.

The United States Government instituted the 6-step Risk Management Framework (RMF) process, formerly known as DIACAP, a necessity for the Defense Industrial Base to architect and engineer data security for new information technology systems.

Your information systems encounter many risks that may affect the overall security posture of your system and the security controls. The RMF process assists with the lifecycle of the computers or networks, and supports early detection and resolution of risks. Our dedicated team of certified cybersecurity experts ensures that your organization is secure and compliant.

Cybernet’s experienced, knowledgeable team supports the following RMF A&A services:

Field Services: Our team of experienced computer engineers bring successful past performance in providing cybersecurity solutions to critical infrastructure markets. We excel in validation, deployment, and customer configuration of customized solutions designed to meet each organization’s requirements. Cybernet helps mitigate risks associated with securing critical systems on the control network.

System Hardening: Cybernet long-standing trust with industry partners makes us an integral player in the research, evaluation, and manufacturing of solutions that work to integrate IT technologies.  Hardening systems is one approach that disables all non-operational ports to make it harder to access the system with malicious intent.

Control System Assessment: Cybernet supports on-site network mapping services. Passive network scanning and network mapping tools are utilized to generate visual maps and supporting data files with additional information. The passive network scanning and network mapping tools are only utilized against devices or on network segments where approved and/or where technically supported.

Integrated Security Solutions: Cybernet’s team is experienced, knowledgeable, and customer-focused. Our professionals specialize in information security, information technology and engineering across multiple disciplines, including computer, software, electrical, and mechanical. This cross-disciplinary team approach provides the required skills and expertise to ensure the success of our customer’s projects.
